Dear *{{First Name}}*,
As we plant seeds, we want to share information about how you can start your own garden as well. Gardening is an excellent activity to stay grounded and release stress, not to mention the delicious meals you can make with fresh ingredients too! We encourage you to plant a garden, even if it is just one tomato plant in a container on your porch. We offer a quick link below to help you get started. If starting seeds isn't your preference, there will be many plant sales this spring. We're hosting one on April 30th, while our friends at Big Garden and Miller-Dohrmann Farm also have plant sales on different dates.
As the greenhouse starts to fill up with seedlings, we are looking ahead to planting them out in the field and welcoming tour groups for hands-on farming experiences. We love inviting the community into the farming process – it is at the core of our mission to make sustainable agricultural education accessible to all. Are you part of any group or do you know of a group that would enjoy an experience connected to agriculture? See the scheduling instructions using the link below. Lastly, we are filled with gratitude as we continue into our tenth season in the heart of Omaha. We couldn't grow, learn, and share without the tremendous support of this community and our partners. Thank you all so much for supporting urban agriculture education at Big Muddy Urban Farm! Brent Lubbert Executive Director |
